The Details and FAQs

Course length: 12 weeks

Meeting cadence: Weekly 90-minute sessions, specific days and times vary

Number of group sessions: 10

Number of individual sessions: 3+

Participation: Every cohort member participates several times throughout each session.

How is success measured? Success is measured through both weekly wins and longer-term goals set in three categories - Self, Communication, and Career Path. Examples include promotions, the addition of direct reports, special leadership opportunities.

How does each session start? By celebrating successes and receiving support for any struggles.

What do we do inside the sessions? Through interactive learning, the "guided mastery" methodology is used to introduce new material and build upon previous modules.

Is there support between sessions? Absolutely. Life happens between sessions. Brief calls and texts are welcome.

Are the sessions recorded? Sessions are recorded upon request and shared only among current cohort members.

Are the sessions confidential? A Code of Honor is agreed upon in the first session. Private details remain so, yet sharing success stories and progress updates with your manager and/or colleagues is highly encouraged

What happens if I have to miss a session? It is expected that no more than one session is missed. In the event that it is, a recording is provided and there is an option to schedule a brief catch-up call.

Is there homework? At the close of each session Actions for Impact are assigned. They are designed to be instantly applicable and relevant to daily life.

How much time is required outside of the sessions? This course was built with the busy professional in mind. While occasionally, an assessment or other activity requires a small amount of time (30 min or less), the Actions for Impact are proven to complement current efforts, not add to them. In other words, new skills are designed to be practiced within existing meetings, sometimes in the very next one!
