This year, International Women’s Day looked a little different in my home. And what unfolded was even much more than I expected!
We gathered a group of incredible women for a Dress for Success benefit. The intention was simple but powerful: help other women walk into job interviews feeling confident, capable, and worthy of the opportunities ahead.
What happened went beyond clothing.
Yes, we donated professional pieces.
Yes, we prepared practical resources like interview tips.
But something deeper unfolded.
There was laughter filling the room.
There were stories shared – some vulnerable, some inspiring.
There was wisdom exchanged between women who had walked different paths.
And perhaps most importantly, there was sisterhood.
Because confidence doesn’t come from clothes alone.
It comes from knowing someone believes in you.
It comes from being reminded that you belong in the room – before you even walk into it.
That’s what made this gathering so meaningful. Every note written, every item donated, every conversation held was a quiet but powerful message to another woman:
You are capable. You are worthy. You belong.

If this resonates with you, here’s my invitation:
Take a moment this week to lift another woman up.
It doesn’t have to be big.
Send an encouraging message.
Make an introduction.
Remind her of her strengths.
Because when women support each other, confidence multiplies.
And doors don’t just open – we hold them open for each other.
Don't miss a beat!
